This is one of the oldest pilgrimage routes known to people. The Way of St. James or simply the camino is a walking trail running through Spain and partially through Portugal and France. It attracts over 200,000 people every year and the aim of their pilgrimage is a grave of St. James the Apostle, buried in basilica of Santiago de Compostela. It is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Over 700 building along The Way were included into UNESCO World Heritage Site to be protected. Also, beautiful landscape of northern part of Spain are spectacular.
June-July-August is a peak season for people from all over the world to walk it. The heat of the spanish summer is unbearable.
