An important example of 19th century American decorative arts. Architect Jacob Wrey Mould designed the ornate Victorian pavilion in 1871 as a shelter for trolley passengers. The pavilion offer a fantastic view over The Lake.

It's fantastic in winter as during spring, please note the Manhattan Skyline.
beware about ice in winter, and avoid dark hours.
